Hi! I’m Debora, founder of ALMA.

ALMA was born in Brazil, in the midst of the pandemic, as a creative refuge during a time of uncertainty. Each piece became a gentle reminder that even in difficult moments, lighting a candle could be a simple yet powerful act of self-care.

Today, ALMA continues this story in California, guided by the same purpose it had from the very beginning: to create pieces that invite you to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what truly matters. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches, with careful attention to detail, thoughtfully selected fragrances, and materials chosen to bring comfort and balance.

Making candles always fills me with hope for the future. It is in this process that I find silence, intention, and purpose. And my wish is that when you have an ALMA candle, it becomes part of your own rituals, whether that means simply being at home, caring for yourself, taking time to read, enjoying a long bath, sharing a meal with family, or simply being present, while my candle is there, creating moments with you.
